“Dealing with Steve and the folks at PRP has become the best experience I’ve ever had at any car shop. I have come from a bad history of being ripped off by other shops and I explained this to Steve. He happily dealt with this so professionally. I did a full motor build at his shop. He sent me many pics every day, he made himself available every day to answer any questions I had (I’m not a mechanic), The job was done on time, on budget and we got EXACTLY the numbers I was looking for on the dyno. He was literally over by 1hp and 3tq from my “I hope” numbers. During the motor build, I was inquiring about additional parts/mods that I had uncovered online etc; Almost every time he told me to keep my money in my pocket. If you look at his shop, it’s clear he is meticulous and he has pride in his business. He went way above and beyond on the labor side of things. For those who have never built a motor, it’s almost 0% of the time you will not have to spend more money. Things just happen and things are discovered as the process evolves. Steve knew I was at the top of my budget going into this and he 100% did a lot of work that I was not charged for (eg: my heads were COVERED in carbon, one of his guys spent a whole day cleaning them. His apprentice Kevin is a true car-fanatic. He Loves what he is doing and he takes pride in his work too. Finally, When you get work done at a shop that has a competitive race program, you know these ppl are always on the cutting edge of tuning ideology, and they are tapped into the industry. They know what’s out there and what’s good, they have track tested it all. I’ve gotten EXACTLY what I was hoping for from this shop. I will bring all my other cars there, stock or not, as he does normal service too. If you live around here, you need to at least reach out to this guy before you make any decisions about your car. Have a look at all the reviews he has gotten, it’s not just me saying this stuff.”
